Before making any investment decision on mutual fund please analysis the following things.

(1) whats the duration of your investment 

(2) what are your financial goals

(3) Investment is done in  debt or equity (Or investment in balance, guilt,or sectorial funds)

(4) what amount you wants to investment in mutual fund.

Before choosing any mutual fund house please check detail about its fund manager who is managing the portfolio.

Above mention fund(birla) is good fund house but its my personal view that investment should not be done on past records, because their is no surety in mutual fund that past records will repeated in future also
