Medical expense bills under sec 80 D apart from Mediclaim

Hi All,

Can any one please help me that shall I claim medical bills of my parents (Senior citizens aged above 60 years) under section 80 D even though I have paid medical insurance premium of Rs 27,560/-

If insurance policy is available, then expenditure cannot be claimed.. you can take preventive checkup if limit permits
