Leave in form 108
My training has completed on 18 feb2014 now in my 108 form my ca told me to show me leave of 234 days... I had already apperaed in nov 2013 that i have not cleared.. Now i will appear for may 2014 . Now i want to know how leave of 234 will affect my training and may 2014 attempt... Plzzz help me out

It will extend your article ship by 90.5 days.
Computation is as under :
Total period = 1095(3years)
Leave Taken = 234
Working days = 1095-234= 861
Leave allowed as per ICAI (1/6th of total working days) = 1/6*861= 143.5
Excess leaves = 234-143.5 = 90.5 = extension period of article ship.
If there are any leave related to exam conducted by CA are not to be cosidered or added in leave. See to that and do the remaining days of training. Good luck.

My ques is due to xtension whether i will be able to sit fir d may xams or not and can i complete the xtended period after june wen xams are over
Ya you can write exam and complete at any time after the exam. Only after clearing you will be getting your ACA certificate .
Thanx venkat for ur suggestion.. Now i m Tension free.. But u r sure about this na that i can write the xam and complete d training afterwards
100% sure no problem . my sister did the same. She had cleared her Finals and did 6 months of remaing period of articles and got her certificate of completion of membership and certificate of practice . When her auditor sent the letter of her completion . You are welcome
Yeaa Ankita Jhii,Venkat Sir is absolutely right.Its mandatory to complete 2.5 yrs of articleship training before appearing for your final exam and the rest of the period can be done after your exams but before the completion of your term....Otherwise you have to apply another form and serve for the rest of the period......
