Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies who is responsible for filing a director's KYC on the MCA portal for a small private limited company. The promoter, using their own Director Identification Number (DIN) and Digital Signature Certificate (DSC), should file the KYC. This is in line with Rule 12A of the Companies (Appointment and Qualification of Directors) Rules, 2014, which mandates KYC submission by a specific deadline following the allotment of a DIN.

The promoter of the company  himself file the kyc through MCA portal with his/her DIN.  As per the provisions of Rule 12A of the Companies (Appointment and Qualification of Directors) Rules, 2014, every individual who is allotted DIN as on 31st March of a financial year must submit his KYC on or before 30th September of the immediately next financial year.

Thank u sir
