Its Urgent, Tenants Problem under Rent Act

Hi friends


one of my friend told me that he lived in rented house for last 35 years now owner of that house told him that leave that house otherwise he can file suite agnst him

now what are remedies available against my friend? should he become deemed owner of that house as he lived in that house for 35 years?

wat remedies are available under gujarat rent act?

plz help me as early as possible

i'm not sure... but if any tenant lives for more than 20 years on rental basis in any house, he's considered to be the deemed owner

Mr Dhiraj, Can you confirm whether it is also apllicable to Commercial Property on rent i.e. other than Residential property. regards. CA Sanjay Baheti,Ahmedabad
