Income tax return invalid
My friend got notice U/s 139(9), but he forget that notice, now that return is Invalid. Is there any possibility to get any problem from Income Tax department?....If Yes how to solve this Problem?....

REVISE THE RETURN AND UPLOAD THE SAME
But the return was related to FY'14-15 and it was filed as on dated 30.05.2016 i.e. after due date.
Whether belated return can be revised..........????
as it is invalid, it is treated as not filed. so, you can file it offline/manual mode like old days
in income tax login there is option under e file menu response to notice u/s 139(9)
click on the same and upload X M L generated after making suitable discripancies

above option valid if you replied to notice within 15 days. if 15 days expired then that year return treated equally as not file then you can again upload return before 31/03/2017 U/S 139(4) belated return
sorry, thought it was AY 2014-15, File it again as original return
