Income Tax paid challans
In case of any questions raised by Income tax authorities about self assessment taxes paid, is it enough to show the bank statement (since the client lost his challans) or will the client be asked to pay such taxes again by IT Dept ?

no there is not required to pay tax again and also income tax can not say to repay. if u paid through net banking it can be reprint. it will also reflect in your 26 as so no need to worry.
it can be seen in your form 26as and also you can see your challan details on tin nsdl site.
