In appendix IX of icai guidlines to pursue other course of study or traning

clearly stated NO ARTICALED CLERK IS ALLOWED TO PURSUE CFA COURSE OR ANY OTHER COURSE CONDUCTED BY ICFAI

Dont even think about it Adnan. The last thing you would want to do i that. In any case the Indian CFA is hardly valued and A CA is a better bet in India. Please note that after the Lehman Bros/ML/AIG/Morgan Stanley failures there will be a lot of CFA's without jobs and I suggest you take the hint out of this and opt for the safer professional option.

Hi Adnan, i did ca and  cfa both .So, i suggest you dont think for cfa atleast for a time being.. currently complete your ca than think for any other course because you have to think for ur future also and trust on me ca is very very imp in the industry or i can say ca is every thing... CFA,CS ,CWA is just addition( as i already completed all this four,I think i am the better person to say) Not give you much advantage in the short term ca degree will work and later on your work experiance will work so i suggest concentrate on ur Articleship othewise you will be loose some thing
