It is very simple. You have to obtain a Exporter/Imported code from the Dy. Director General of your area. The fee for obtaining such number is Rs. 250/- to be paid by a D/D. The form is very simple. It requires some of your details, a certificate from your bankers and photocopy of you PAN card.You can download the form from DGFT web site and submit it to them. The process will hardly take a few days, if you fill all the columns properly.
