My HR people had mentioned that the Salary for the calculation of Gratuity is Rs.9823.
Completed years of service is 8 years.
Amount of Gratuity is Rs.51004.
Can u explain me how the calculation was made?

9823*15/26*9
There is a chance that you have worked for 6 months or more during the 8th year, Hence the same has been rounded off to 9
