You can appear in exams but you have to complete it before getting membership number.

You can appear for your CA Final exams during last six months of training without completing the GMCS-II but make sure you complete it before completion of your articled training.

Dear all,

I have registered for my articleship on september 2012 and i'm eligible to appear May 2015 exams. Due to leave shortage, i have skipped my chance and is planning to vacate my office on leave from May 2015 for preparing for November 2015 exams.

Please advice my whether i will face any consequence (as per new rule) on not attending GMCS II before my November 2015 exam, please note that my articleship ends on September 2015.
