What are the procedures for filling returns, do I have to disclose all Income earned earlier?

You don't have to disclosed income of earlier year, only income for the relevant year to disclose.
For eg - Return filled for AY 17-18 than you have to show income between 1/4/16 to 31/3/17

Won't the CIT ask about previous income in case of scrutiny assessment?
