Error in totalling salary amount in AIS

Dear Sir,

The total in my Salary amount in AIS shows a wrong amount of Rs 1681890/- whereas the monthly amounts total to Rs 2019980/- which match with 26AS and my form 16. I am unable to file my return as the ITR is not accepting the correct figure of Rs 2019980/- stating that the amount filled by me is lesser than the one shown by my employer.

When I total the monthly salary amounts in AIS, these total to Rs 2019980/- but surprisingly the Total shown on top in AIS is Rs 1681890/- and there is no menu like " wrong salary total shown".

I am unable to file ITR as i get an error message that Dear Sir,

To resolve the mismatch, the taxpayer should submit feedback within the AIS module explaining the summation error, and proceed with filing the ITR using the correct figure of Rs. 20,19,980 (matching Form 16 and 26AS). If the online portal blocks submission due to a validation error, utilizing the official offline utility to generate and upload the JSON file will typically bypass the online system glitch.
