Can anyone explain "Whether deferred tax can be shown in the Notes to Accounts instead of showing on the face of the Balance Sheet?"

No it has to be shown on face of the face of balance sheet as per revised schedule vi
Can you please specify the date from which it will be applicable.
It is applicable from Ist April 2011 so all balance sheets now will be as per revised schedule Vi only
