Defectibe return under section 139(9)

I have filled my return on 27th nov 2017 in the form og ITR 4..but in such return i have forgotten to provide the details regarding balance sheet.so income tax department has issued notice to me under section 139(9) and treated my return as defective...in reply of such return.,I have mistekenly filled revised return instead of filling "return in response to notice under section 139(9)." what should I do to rectify such mistake?!
