DOWNLOADED COMMON FILING UTILITY FOR AY 2026-27 AND EXTRACTED FROM THE ZIP FILE. AFTER DOUBLE CLICKING, MICROSOFT DEFENDER GIVES A WARNING THAT AN UNAUTHORISED APP IS STARTING. I PRESS RUN ANYWAY AND THE SET UP STARTS AND THEN CLOSES ABRUPTLY. THE UTILITY IS NOT OPENING. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE GUIDE.

The abrupt crash is caused by Windows Security silently killing the program after you launch it. To fix this, right-click the extracted .exe file, go to Properties, check the Unblock box at the bottom, hit apply, and then launch the setup by right-clicking it and choosing "Run as administrator."

The file that is extracted is not .exe file. Its a Windows Installer package.
Anyway, i tried what you suggested but it has the same issue.
