please let me know how i can pursue cs with ca if i have cleared my pe2 exams .....my query is regarding the training....is a student doing ca can be exempted from training of cs.................pleaaase answer as soon as possible.

no exemption given... there is no MOU betn ICAI n ICSI... m a CS n final CA student

Hi,

NO CS n CA training cant be merged..U need to have seperate training both the cources..Bcoz there is no collbration bw both the organizations.

It is better to get a certificate from the PCS for the dummy training if u r already undergoing CA Training.

HI.

Please let me know whether to work as ASST.Company Secretary the Company should be registered under ICSI Institute. As i am having 8 months experience as management trainee in a Listed Company . To get membership number for how many momnths do i need to work as ASSt Company Secretary..

Hi Swati,

It is not necessary for a Company to be registered with the ICSI where you are working as an Assistant Company Secretary.

ICSI may on case-to-case basis, considering the appropriate cause, allow the candidate to shift his/her Training from one Company to another Company during the Training period. 15 month Training period should be continuous, so if shifting is allowed, there should not be time gap between relieving and joining the Training.

But your case is different. Prensely you are working as an Assistant CS, with 8 months of training in a listed Company. I wolud advise you to contact the ICSI Training section. From there you will will get the relevant answer to your query.
