Thank you for the update and for sharing the resolution.
As feedback to the Income Tax Department, it would be very helpful if:
- Proper release notes / changelogs are published whenever a new utility version is uploaded.
- Error messages are made more descripttive instead of generic validation failures.
- A dedicated “Known Issues & Resolved Issues” section is maintained on the portal.
- Advance intimation is given before utility replacement or forced updates.
- Offline utility stability and compatibility testing is improved before public release.
Such improvements will help taxpayers and professionals avoid unnecessary confusion, duplicate work, and filing delays during peak return season.
Appreciate the efforts of the department in resolving the issue quickly.
