Please tell me by which act Corporations are Governed?
are they governed by Companies Act or any other law or both?
While explaining it is requested to please take Example of DTC, LIC and GIC of India.

These are constituted by special act of parliament or state legislature.The provisions of companies act 1956 don't apply to them.
Examples RBI , LIC , DTC etc.
