Vinod gupta is better for exam point of view.

VK SINGHANIA always best for knowledge purpose but requires high level of patience n time if want to use for exam.

GO FOR VINOD GUPTA WITH UR EYES CLOSED , but yes u would be needed to make summaries , coz it is huge in size

Though i am a junior to you sir and have respect for you all but the words EYES CLOSED is just rubbish to say the least to any CA Student..

else go for singhania.....

Go for singhania only if have the capablity to retain everything with one reading only.....becz u wont get time to read singhania twice and it very difficult to revise it on examination day as well

Go  for Vinod Gupta.....totally exam oriented with guranteed success

If you want to make a career in Direct Taxes better use Singhania's book

Also go through throughly Supplementary Study Paper and Select Cases published by the Institute

my all friends am very much cofuse between company and ca firms. meri article ship complete ho gai aur mnr saari final ki caochings bhi complete kar li hmera final ka attempt nov 2011 m h aur mne socha h ek ek group kar k dunga  but pls guide me kya mujhe ca firms m phir se jaana chahiye aur kaam seekhne k liye or corpate m jahan mera selection ho gaya h with a package of 2.9 lakh p.a but wahan mujhe sirf specific kaam milega aur kaam m varietys ni hogi plz guide me its very urgent

I think Singania is good for conceptual clarity, problem solution & Scorring

my dear friend please don't confuse . Select any one of the book and read it completely. As per my view you should prefer singhania.
