an auditor gave his report and later he found an material
misstatement in the financial statements regarding the
period for which he gave report.now he is willing to change
his opinion.is it possible?

He has got to make himself heard at the AGM and bring to the attention of the shareholders, the material mis-statements which if he had known earlier, would have induced him to qualify his report/ present a different Audit Opinion.
can the reported submitted by auditor altered in case of material misstatement!
