Yes you can claim indexation on improvemnet expentitures on LTA

hey Aayush How r u? but what about cost of improvment made within 3 yrs prior to the date of sale of LTCA?

e.g.

date of purchase of asset 01/04/2008

cost of improvement Rs.2 lakhs made on 15/05/2012

date of  sale of asset 18/12/2013

????????????

Take Indexation for Cost of Acquision

But For Cost of Improvement No Indexation is Available.
