If one is doing trading of stocks on deliver method but for short term gains How much is the tax applicable and how one can avoid it? And is there any consideration of existing tax slabs while calculating tax under capital gain(which is told flat 15% for short term)?

Both the deals 'Trading on daily basis' and 'Investment for short period' are quite different (for taxation purpose).

Here in  ST investment deals........ there are no deductions available except sell transaction expenditures. The capital gains is taxed at fixed 15% rate, but after crossing the basic exemption limit. No deduction under chapter VIA.
