ca-pcc exam eligibility

hi friends.............i copleted my articles period of 1.5 year.....but  i terminated due to some personal reasons............now the question is...........can i appear  for nov exams without joining another firm?is it compulsory to get registerd with another firm within 1month...... i can write exams.........who gonna sign my exam application?...pls friends.reply me...its urgent
