ca final cost - urgent

hi yaar 

same problem with me 

i also starting costing today

thinking of starting OR 

WAT ABT U??

o.r. to  meine ek bar kr li but cost ki tension hai........

sum he nhi solve hote.... i m giving only 2nd group wht about u ?

Costing subject hai hi aisa k kabhi bhi confidence nahi aata hai. even CA clear karne k baad bhi Costing se darr lagta hai.. so dont worry, be cool and do module and compilation for practical questions...

One more thing i would like to add is that do COSTING and OR theory well....it has a weightage  of around 30 Marks...

never ever do module yaar meri attempt bhi pehle ban gayi just going to sit otherwise sylabus to abhi khatam hi nahi huya.......dont worry give exams lets see whats our destin or practicle would give 20 marks but it is not sure cause there is no permanent pattern of costing exam

module main bahut kuch galat hai like they say sunk cost and irrelevent cost has no diff but in actual it has....and in or they follow earlier pattern in module earlier OR was 100 marks but now only few questions about 15 to 20 marks asked in exams...but module belongs to ancient times..............

how can u say that never use the module. it is always advised to use module and compilation for Costing paper. i agree there are few mistakes in the module but Sunk cost and irrelevant cost are the same, i have not seen this statement in the module. though the level of question is much higher in the module and sometimes it is seen the 1 or 2 questions are asked as it is from the module. but it is upto the students whether he wants to use the module or not.

Who said Costing is difficult .infact it is a interesting subject to pass out.what we need is a approach to handle the subject.if u take it as a easy subject ,then nothing is difficult.

When i prepared for second group for my exam ,i did not take coaching classes for any of the subjects of second group.but still i passed the group in early attempt.

so frnzzz be positive,and prepare urself for exam with positive approach.......

i cleared ca final 4th attempt.. every attempt i got cleared in all sub except costing. i knew why i was not getting clear in costing in my 3rd attempt. so in 4th attempt i handled costing paper correctly and got cleared in costing and ca final also.

now i will tell whats wrong with me in this sub.

1. low cofidence

2. less problems solutions

3. theory also imp but i not read properly.

suggestions from me about this sub to u.

1. read theory questins & answers it contains upto 30marks

2. imp chap. are QT(assignment, transportation problem,lpp, simulation, network & other qt chapters), ABC costing, Std. costing & budjetory control.

3.if u refering sarvan book then go through illustrations solutions.

Theory + QT + ABC Analysis consists of 50% marks in costing paper.So prepare these areas properly .

                 I am not saying that there is written that both are same but treatment in ques makes no difference...also if u suggest module tell me one thing  are u still at your point  if i talk about the same  for operation research.....  other members please also give your valuable suggestions.....regards to above said issue....for which Sh Azim and i am debating!!!!!!!!!!!
