It has been confirmed by the board of studies that though the syllabus is restricted to the old syllabus module, one should also refer to the New syllabus module.

There is not much difference between OLD and NEW syllabus...Old can refer Old, New can refer even Old..OLD is GOLD

I also had same difficulty...

But, I found not much difference between the two..

Dear friends,

There is no change in syllabus for old course. An announcement was again made on 10.09.10 and clarified the same.  Students are asked to refer the topics of old syllabus in New syllabus institute modules. No new chapter is required to be studied. This notification is given because old syllabus modules are not being printed anymore.
