To claim the Section 80DD tax deduction for a dependent daughter, providing her Aadhaar and PAN is required by the electronic filing utility rules. If she does not have a PAN, use the tax portal's "Instant E-PAN" facility to instantly generate one using her Aadhaar number. Ensure you file Form 10-IA first to obtain the mandatory acknowledgement number before attempting to submit your main ITR form under the Old Tax Regime.
