Whether Atttempts Count, if a Candidate had filled an examination form but due to his/her medical illness he had not appeared in the examination?

Yes sure, once  your attempts starts and if you take r not it will be counted..

But as per the universal meaning of ATTEMPT...it indicates dat u had attempted the examination...!!

During campus placement the fact mentioned in the form is no of attempts taken to clear...At dat instant should a canditate opt for cleared in 1st attempt or not?

No, u shud clearly Mentioned in hw many attempts u hd cleared ur exams.

But one of my senior had done d same...he had not mentioned no of attempts as he hadn't appeared for the examination....

at campus placements recruiters are well aware of ur attempts as i hear that our passing certificate shows it by no. of Stars ( as no. of attempts). So, Please be true abt wchosing ur attempts at Campus.

But does dat affect to our carrier...does company ask the reasons for not appearing in exams??

Not at all, no one ask about your attempts if hav sound knowledge abt ur working area & a professional degree. keep smiling....... regards, ratan

Hey i have one Question...

Due to preponement Scheme for eligibility to appear in Final xams before 6 months for PCC students, i am eligible 2 appear in May 2011 but i am giving exams in November 2011 as per my original schedule... so will THIS BE COUNTED AS SECOND ATTEMPT OR FIRST ATTEMPT....???????
