PAN CARD IS ISUED IN THE NAME OF PROPRITOR.

REGISTRATION OF SERVICE TAX CODE NUMBER IS ISSUED ON THE BASIS OF PAN CARD

SO, NATURALLY ALL HIS BUSINESS MAY HAVE DIFFERENT NAME OR DIFFERENT TRADE LICENCE BUT THE REGISTRATION CODE NO WILL BE SAME.

IN CASE OF PARTNERSHIP OR OTHER FIRMS SITUATION IS DIFFERENT

CAn u please suggest me the form for this ammendment . 

will that be complete ammendregistration  form or ammend registration form.

SURRENDER THE OLD ONE AND

APPLY FOR NEW REGISTRATION

NOW REGISTRATION IS ON LINE

The same form for application for registration can be used for amendment in Service Tax Registration.

In case the location and name of the firm is changed, you need to apply a fresh and you can surrender eralier STRegn.
