I heard that period of notice of agm is start from the 48 hrs from the date of posting. Is it right ?

You are requested to refer section 53(2)(b)(i).
As per this section service of notice deemed to be effected at the expiration of 48 hours after the letter containing the same is posted. Hence your interpretation is quite correct.
