This web is very informative and usefull. Really thank and appreciate those who are behind this.
Ok , coming to the point. Am also CA and best example of our government policies how a common man can be harrased by our IT department. I was a salaried employee working for Wipro and was filing returns on time. Now, IT has called me IT assmnt for FY2008-09.They disallowed Chapter V1 A deductions but later allowed on submission of proofs along with Form 16. Now they are asking for PF proofs eventhough it is already shown in the Form 16. Surprising right?The mistake i did was honestly filed returns as a Salaried employee. They have lot of work in our country -rights ? 2g spectrum , adarsh flat and so on ...but IT cannot touch them hm.
Please advice whether , is there any case law on this subject as am planning to go for appeal

you have PF account slips for the respective year and for earlier year, that would be sufficient for the purpose, if needed you can get an certificate from your employer regarding the amount deducted and remitted to PF under your name.
