05 April 2012 sir, i am a salary employe & regular assess my total taxable income of AY. 2011-12 Rs. 249240.00 & Rs. 9191.00 TDS deduct by my employer my minor daughter who is also holder of PAN she have a fixed deposit & bank Account with SBI bank now Bank given interest on Fixed Deposit Rs. 26156.00 and bank deduct TDS of Rs. 5232.00 on Fixed Deposit interest amount she have no another income my query is please let me know that the income of my minor daughter will be club with my income if yes than please direct me how my minor daughter claim for TDS refund. If No than in which ITR Will Be submit form my minor daughter & who will sign on that ITR & How She will get the refund.

05 April 2012 The income of a minor child is clubbed with her parents. Further a deduction of Rs. 1,500 is allowed from such income.

Has the TDS been deducted against the PAN of your daughter or your PAN?
