16 June 2014 Whether income received by a resident indian in UK is necessary to show such income in the income tax return? If yes, tax paid by the resident indian in UK can be taken as credit?

17 June 2014 resident in indian then he show this income in his return and take credit of tax paid in UK as per DATT agreement.

17 June 2014 once you are resident, as the original query does suggest, all incomes earned - anywhere in the world - are to be reported in Indian tax return. To claim credit for taxes paid/deducted in foreign country, you need to fill "TR-FA" sheet in the tax return. please note depending on whether you have business income or not, ITR4 or ITR2 needs to be filled.
