can a government employee purchase and sale the the shares in share market


because government employee should not involve any other activity except government job

29 May 2015 Any other activity : This should not be taken as any hindrance to Govt employee....else it will be difficult for the govt employee to do any other activity like sleeping in night, getting ready in morning, travelling

Leaving apart the lighter side of the answer, a Govt employee can very well sell and purchase shares so long as it amounts to investment and does not amount to a business activity.
