Dear Experts, If an individual buys Vacant Land and after holding it for less than 3 years or more than 3 years (1) Again sells it as Vacant Land (2) Builds a building and rents it out. (3) Builds building and then sells it. Please Provide me in all the above 3 cases under which head of income i have to classify. Please provide me with the relevant sections or case laws or notifications (recent) so that i can fully satisfy my senior regarding this. Your help will be of great value for me. Dear Rasesh Sir, As you said even i thought that it is Discounted Free Cash Flow method for valuing shares by a closely held company when the shares are to be transferred by a non-resident to resident. This is as per Circular No.49 issued dated May 4, 2010 by RBI/2009-10/445 A.P. DIR SERIES. But some people say again RBI have issued another notification which is applicable from June which prescribes other method. Please guide me regarding this.
