i used to work in a company which went in toliquidation in 2001.I had left the company in 2000 as Managar sales.After it went to liquidation, an enquiry was conducted for the causes of company failure by a state govt. corporation in a adhoc manner because it had two memebers as directors.The equiry officers implicated 15 middle level exceutives likee me that we have frauded for 5 lacs in 3 years by raising notings and spending money ( on ten occasions of 25-50k each time) which were actually not spent.Though these noting were approved by competetnt autority and passed by accounts, yet filed case againgt us u/s 420 alongwith 120 B. Now we want to compound this offence because harrasment in litigation is very long. How it should be done
