Sir, If an employee goes on an official tour to bombay. And the employer bears the following charges: 1.Conveyance from residence to airport and back. 2.Hotel stay excluding food charges. 3.Flight expenses. 4.And a fixed rate of Travelling/Halting Allowance. The employee doesnot submit any food intake bills. Is this Halting Allowance and Travelling Allowance paid Taxable. Answer me with section no.

Dear All, If deposit of service tax online i.e e-payment of service tax is mandatory,the assessee had deposited the service tax by cheque - however the assessee has documents that suggest that the same has been credited in favour of Service tax within due date. Will the service tax dept impose any fine / penalty for not making the payment online ? A specific reply in this matter will be helpful along with any case reference if any. Dear experts, I have done my BE in Electronics & Communication and working as Senior software engineer in telecom field. I am interested to pursue CA/CW/CS out of my interest towards the subject. I request you experts to guide me which course to take and what all the job opportunities available for me (BE with CA/CW/CS) after completing the course. Is there any openings available in the market for this technical skills with accounting? Do software industries prefer engineers doing CA/CW/Cs?It will be great helpful if you help me out. Sir Basically we are an importer of furniture having registered office in bangalore only & do not have any branches in any other states, but we do have interstate sales against c form, we are finding it difficult to collect c Forms & faciing lot of problem, Instead we are planning to get the VAT registration done at different states to ensure we do branch transfer to other state & to sale thereafter. The registration is going to be only for records purpose for the time being & In this scenario please guide is it the right move & we have further plans to have our showrooms opened in other states,? Secondly please let us know the compliance required to be met with VAT authorities before and after registration, Thirdly, documents which need to be taken care while making branch transfer, The immedieate requirement is for opening branch in Tamilnadu, Hope to receive a detailed reply. please do the needful
