Dear Sir , My wife Roma Awatramani income tax refund is pending for AY 2011-12 because the AO / Ward as per PAN Records is of Karnataka . The Permanent address as per PAN Records is that of Mumbai . I had filed her return thru E-filing . I had writtent to A Chief Income tax officer in Mumbai for status of my refund under RTI and was told that reason for refund pending is that in PAN Records the ward is KAR/313/3/14 . I want to know how to get the AO /Ward changed in PAN Records and what is my relevant AO /WARD where this should be transferred Regards Rajiv as per PAN Re

AN ASSET PURCHASED IN 2011-12 PUT TO USE IN 2011-12. CAN I POSTPONE THE CLAIM FOR DEPRECIATION AND START CLAIMING DEP. FROM SECOND YEAR.? I NEED SOME DECIDED CASE LAWS TO SUPPORT POSTPONING DEPRECIATION TO NEXT YEAR. THANK YOU SIR.

Hi Sir, I had got my service tax registration done through some one when I was in mumbai. It has been a year now and I have moved to Kolkata and want to start doing work now.[the mumbai address is no longer in use] can I use the same servive tax registration number here in Kolkata. Do I have to get the address changed? here 2 diff CA's have told me that I have to surrender the service tax registration there in Mumbai and have a new one done in Kolkata. [ and even in this case the person who got my service tax registration done did not provide me my user -id and password nor the form ST-1] I am in a deadlock … I don't know how to proceed. I only have my form ST-2 How can i retrieve my user id and form ST-1 and how can i start working in Kolkata. pls help.
