Hi, Had availed employer 'buy your car scheme', where in after paying in 7 emi's, am changing company, now when company is calculating the amount to foreclose, they are putting perquisite tax (30.90%)on the difference amount of book value of the car (ex-showroom price+life time road tax+insurance+vat) and principal outstanding amount+insurance premium (prorata), without deducting depreciation prorata based from the book value of the car. Is this calculation right, pls help.

Hello sir, I am Mahesh from Nawada. Sir please tell me that can I claim TDS amount for the FY 2007-08 in the FY 2008-09 return, as the dedudutor issued me certificate late, I have already filled the FY 2007-08 returned without showing that income.

It is stated in reply in case of rent TDS is on gross inclusive of servcie tax. Is is not on net ie only on rent excluding servcie tax tds is deducable?
