  • Dr.Alaknanda Dhotre says : Gift deed from sister to brother
    I am an NRI. I transfered my land in my brother's name and I did it on notorised agreement. But it wasn't registered deal at subregistrar office. I gave POA to my brother before leaving for abroad. My brother sold land. Now If I do gift deed (after the sale deed), will the proceeds of sale of my portion of land attract any tax? Also land deal is not complete as it is under subjudice at state minister level.

    I sold agriculture land. The buyer has paid 40 lakhs cash and remaining 1.60 Cr as bank transfer. I requested buyer to deposit 40 lakhs also as bank transfer instead of cash but he has refused. I wish to declare it to income tax department as I am not interested in tax evasion. Will I still be penalized?

    if education society has gross receipts more than one crore than what is the process off tax calculation
