Dear Sir, Could you please advise for the below query. If we are a tour operators. So, should we deduct TDS on hotel bills ? We are not taking accomodation on regular basis. should 194C Applicable ? Normally, our company is not deducting tds on hotel bills. but i just want the clarification and notification . Thanks, Manpreet Kaur -

I HAVE A HUF A/C WITH A BANK AND I WANT TO CLAIM NO TDS DEDUCTION BY SUBMITTING FORM 15 G.THE BANKER IS SAYING THAT 15 G IS NOT APPLICABLE TO HUF.CAN ANYBODY CLARIFY AS TO WHETHER 15 G IS APPLICABLE TO HUF. IT IS TO MENTION THAT IN THE FORM 15 G(NEW ONE PUBLISHED IN aPRIL 2013) UNDER THE "NOTES" there is a ** which states " **Indicate the capacity in which the declaration is furnished on behalf of a HUF, AOP, etc. Can anyone help me out.
