: Excise Duty Doubts its urgent!!
Dear Experts, Please go through this query and answer my doubts. I require this information urgently. (A) Can anyone guide me on what are all the (1)Records (2)Documents (3)and Registers to be maintained by a manufacturing unit - Large Taxpayer Unit for the purpose of Excise. (B) What are the returns that has to be filed monthly by Large Taxpayer Unit? (C) Please also tell me how we would compute the excise duty liability to be paid every month? If an assessee,as a result of a genuine calculation mistake, debits an amount, which is in excess of the duty requirement, how he can get back the excess amount? If it is a four months old case, is the adjustment to be done through re-crediting the same in the Cenvat Account or by submitting Refund Application or? Who is the proper authority here? Superintendent or Assistant Commissioner? What are the governing rules / notifications? -

Sir, Is the PF to be deducted from the basic and DA is compulsorily to be as 35% and 15% respectively or is it on the wish of the company to deduct ..say 60% in total. -
