: TDS REFUND Adjustment against demand
sir In scrutiny case of A.Y 2009-2010 demand was raised for Rs 744150 /- and i was ordered to deposit the same . i preferred an appeal to CIT(A) and requested the AO not to press me for deposit of amount till appeal . i also requested to CIT to make a stay on my demand as same case in other circle was in favour of assessee , i have submitted the copies of that judgment also . but they attached my bank accounts . so i deposited 175000/ - out of total demand after that they vacated the attachment and after few months i received the letter from CPC that amount of Rs 279000/- ( TDS refund of year 11-12 ) is adjusted against my demand . okay up till here it is okay but now again the AO attached my bank account without any notice as still as per their records i have to pay Rs 290000/- . even though i have requested them to adjust my demand against my refund of AY 12-13 as earlier also they did the same ( as i mentioned above) . but they have not taken any action on my request and forcing me to deposit the balance demand . now i have again deposited Rs 100000/- so balance demand remain 190000/- . i have again requested them to adjust my demand against my tds refund as this is due for year 12-13 and 13-14 even only one year refund is more than balance demand- but AO is not accepting my request and saying that he can only give me relaxation if i agree to deposit the amount in installments. i just wanted to know that why they are doing so, can't they adjust my demand against my TDS and give the remaining to me, please guide me what to do. and let me know how to inform CPC for refund process Read more at: http://www.caclubindia.com/experts/modify_message.asp?entry_id=777146 -

i have one doubt for sale of car, i have purchased a audi car on 31.03.13 for Rs, 5086530 towards a bank loan taken 4129000, balance i have paid a cheque to olympus motors pvt ltd, i have bank loan emi paid upto 28.01.2014 outstanding balance 36,21,051.54. i have agreed to sell a car 30,00,000 to customer. customer has paid onbehalf of mine in name of finance volkswages pvt ltd and i have preclosure payment 8,55,705 total ( 3855705) to volkswagen finance pvt ltd , plz specify how to enter into books of sale audi car and close of the bank loan. plz help me sir, how will treat loss on sale of car ?
