Error showing Gstr 3b for August with late fee

22 October 2017 I can't file GSTR 3B for August, because of error showing "cash ledger not having sufficient balance to set off" even if cash ledger sufficient balance to set off the penalty and input tax credit. For this reason I'm also not able to file GSTR 3B for the month of September And my penalty goes up everyday What can I do. Please suggest me.

22 October 2017 Pay your "Late Fee" for August and file with set off.... Then only you can file your GSTR 3B return for the month of September... Otherwise you can't file returns without filling of GSTR 3B return for the month of August... Advisable for "File immediately your GSTR 3B return for August"

23 October 2017 Wait on further notifications... Also some experts says it ll be refundable. But, no more notification till date... So, wait on with me and all taxpayers....

23 October 2017 Thanks for your response. Besides payment of taxes I have extra ₹6k paid and it reflects in the cash ledger. It is because of challan created with wrong head and I can't set off the money with another head

23 October 2017 How can I get refund that money to my bank account?

23 October 2017 Yeah... Most of person missing the payment head..

You ll be pay the tax as per your calculation and exact heading...
the wrongly paid amount is you ll get as refund...

The Refund process not yet available in portal. So, wait on it's availability and after available you ll file RFD 01 form...
