Can i import goods under my firm name using a credit card?

26 June 2016 1) Can I import goods to India under my firm name by paying using credit card from online website?
2) If yes, is there any amount limit for the same?
3) Are there docs or proofs which support both the statements above if they are true?

27 June 2016 yes, you can do so. (You need to have the INTERNATIONAL credit card for the same)

27 June 2016 A) Yes, I have credit card but it is in my personal name. Will that work?
B) Also, is there any limit for using it?
C) How can I confirm to customs the amount paid for the goods?

28 June 2016 A. Yes the credit card in individual name will very well work for payment.
B. Every credit card has its own limit. You need to check the same with the CARD servicing company e.g. VISA, AMEX, MASTER, as the case may be
C. When you open the payment gateway through your card, it prompts you for, the purpose of payment etc.
