16 February 2010 Sir,

We have received an order of proceedings U/S 221 of IT Act, from Dy. Commissioner(IT) with some unvalid notions of TDS violations.

Pl suggest me, for which authority we can file an appeal under Under IT and at what time.

Further, in that order the Dy.commissioner was mentioned that, the disputable amount was payable with in 10 days.

Pl suugest the due course of action to aviod making payment/attachment.

16 February 2010 Pl file an appeal before the Commissioner of Income tax (Appeals) under section 246A(1)(j) with in 30 days from the date of service of the notice of demand.
Also file a petition before the Deputy Commissioner seeking stay of demand till the disposal of the appeal by the CIT (Appeals).
