A Complete Guide to Filing your CA Inter Registration Form

Enrolling for the CA Intermediate level course has become an easy task since ICAI has made all the registration process online. If a candidate not qualify for the exam within four years then they will have to renew their registration. The two routes to becoming eligible for the CA Intermediate exam are as follows:

Route 1- By clearing CA foundation or CPT exam

Route 2- Through the direct entry

 

Documents Required for ICAI CA Intermediate Registration

  1. An attested copy of the 12th class Marksheet or its equivalent Central Govt. recognized examination pass Mark statement.
  2. For the direct entry scheme students - an attested copy of the Graduation / Post Graduation Marksheet or Mark statement of Intermediate level Examination of ICSI or ICWAI
  3. A latest coloured photograph on the hard copy of the CA Intermediate registration form.
  4. If a student is a foreigner, an attested copy of the proof of Nationality
  5. For SC/ST/OBC or Differently abled an attested copy of the proof of special category certificate.

Steps to register for the CA Foundation course online

Step 1- Visit https://www.icai.org/ and go to Service Portal Link on the top right corner of the screen and login. For new users create your account at E-services > Student services.

Step 2- In the next window Click on 'Click Here to access the Student SSP Portal.' And then select student cycle.

Step 3- Now click on 'Intermediate through PE1/CPT/Foundation' or 'Direct Entry' depending upon your route. CA students who have not cleared CA Foundation but have passed graduation or CS Executive or CMA Executive are eligible for direct entry route and should click Intermediate 'Direct Entry' for Existing Students.

Step 4- Pre filled details will be shown on the screen. After checking the details click on Save and Next option. After this you will be required to enter your details of Qualification. It is mandatory to attach the Self Attested Document and provide Class X & XII Details.

Step 5- Upload the documents, fill the other details and click on save and next button.

 

Step 6- Next step is to upload your Photo/ Signature. Students can verify the Photo/Signature or any other documents uploaded by clicking on Click here to upload. Only scanned copies in jpg/jpeg format are allowed.

Step 7- After that Generate OTP. Your verification link will be sent to your concerned Email ID. Complete your login and validation process and submit.

Step 8- In the last step of CA Intermediate Registration, you will be redirected to the payment page of ICAI. Choose the payment modes from the available list to pay the fees and complete the process. The submitted application will be verified by ICAI And thereafter authorized accordingly.

After the successful filling of the registration form and the successful payment, the system will generate a form. Students will be required to save it and take its print out and within 7 days submit the form to the concerned regional office after duly signed by the candidate along with the relevant documents.
