1. CA Shekar Kapur
Shekar Kapur is an actor, director, producer in the Bollywood Cinema. He became a qualified Chartered Accountant at the age of 22 and worked in an multinational oil company before entering into the world of cinema. He is known for directing best movies like Mr. India, Bandit Queen, Masoom. Kapur gained international recognition after directing an award winning Hollywood movie Elizebeth.
2. CA Piyush Goyal
Piyush Goyal is the Minister of Commerce & Industry, Consumer Affairs & Food & Public Distribution and Textiles, Government of India. Leader of House in Rajya Sabha. He is a Member of the Upper House (Rajya Sabha) of the Parliament of India He was earlier the Minister of Railways and Coal. He has also held additional charge of Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs twice in 2018 and 2019. Piyush Goyal is All India 2nd Rank Holder in the final exam conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
3. CA Sanjay Subramaniam
Sanjay Subramaniam is a Cranatic Vocalist and has been in the field of music for 27 years performing on various stages all over India and World he is also ‘A’ grade Artist in All India Radio. Sanjay is not a Chartered Accountant but also a Rank holding Cost Accountant.
4. CA Swaminathan Gurumurthy
Gurumurthy is a famous journalist , columnist in the Indian express daily Newspaper . Madhavan’s role in movie Guru is based on his story. Murthy became the member of the Institute in 1972 and joined an auditing firm.
5. CA Vishakha Hari
Vishakha Hari is a proponent of Harikatha (ancient form of story telling) and also a Carnatic Musician. She has received recognition and awards for Hariktha and Music. She qualified as a Chartered Accountant in the year 2001.
6. CA Siddanth Charturvedi
Siddanth is a Bollywood actor who gained recognition for his role MC Sher in the movie Gully boy alongside Ranveer Singh. He has been a role model for many students to pursue the profession and passion. Siddanth recalls in one of his interviews that he lost All India Rank by 10-12 marks in the exams conducted by the Institute of the Chartered Accountants.
7. CA Rakesh Jhunjhunwala
Jhunjhunwala is business mogul who is the chairman of Aptech Limited and Hungama Digital Media Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. and board of directors of Geojit Financial Services. He is known as the Indian Warren Buffet. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in the Year 1985.
8. CA Subhashini Giridhar
Subhashini is a well known Bhartanatyam dancer and performs in various stages across India and abroad. She qualified as a Chartered Accountant in the Year 2003 and also post qualification degree DISA from the Institute.
9. CA Suresh Prabhu
Prabhu is a Member of Rajya Sabha and formerly served as the Minister of Railways and Minister of Commerce & Industry and Civil Aviation. He secured All India rank 11 and qualified as Chartered Accountant.
10. CA Rameshwar Thakur
Thakur was a well known Senior Politician of Indian National Congress and former Governor of Karnataka. Thakur qualified in the year 1953. He was President Of The ICAI in the year 1966-67.
11. Rehman Khan
Khan is a educationalist, Politician of Indian National Congress and Former Union Minister of Minority Affairs. He is Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of India since 1964.
