The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced the appointment of Shri Manoranjan Mishra as its new Executive Director, effective from November 1, 2023. With over 30 years of experience at the RBI, including roles in bank regulation, supervision, and currency management, Mr. Mishra brings a wealth of expertise to his new position. In his capacity as Executive Director, he will oversee the Enforcement Department, Risk Monitoring Department, and the Department of External Investments & Operations.
