The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), through its Professional Development Committee, has released the Draft Panel for the Appointment and Re-appointment of Statutory Auditors for State Co-operative Banks (StCCBs) and Central Co-operative Banks (CCBs) for the financial year 2025-26.
The draft panel, now accessible at meficai.org, has been prepared using the Multipurpose Empanelment Form (MEF) panel for 2024-25 as the base. The categorization of applicants into Categories A, B, or C has been done in accordance with the RBI guidelines dated January 15, 2024, for appointing statutory auditors to co-operative banks.
Applicants can view their respective category status and raise any observations or complaints via the official ICAI MEF complaints portal at https://app.meficai.org/complaints. Assistance is also available through the designated helpline numbers:

The draft panel will remain open for comments and queries until June 7, 2025. After addressing all feedback, ICAI will forward the finalized panel to the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) for final approval and implementation.
